Quinn Brody had broken things off with Athena Manikas when he found out she was a virgin, but he can’t forget her. When he sees her again, he knows that walking away was the worst thing he could have done. Now that he has been presented a second chance, he is not going to lose her again. But when a threat from his past comes back to haunt him and becomes a threat to Athena, can he show her that he can be trusted?

Athena Manikas has recently joined Red Stone as an event planner, never realizing the man she can’t forget is now her co-worker. Is she ready to trust her heart and give Quinn a second chance? Will that second chance be doomed before it starts when a man that Quinn help put behind bars is released and bent on destroying Quinn by going after anyone he loves? A business trip to Vegas gives Quinn the chance to be hero and protector to Athena, while allowing him to rekindle the flames of love.

We once again get a glimpse of characters from past stories in the Red Stone saga and are introduced to new characters that might be possible stories in the future. This story, like all of Ms. Reus’s, will quickly draw you in and keep you turning those pages until the end. I highly recommend this book along with all the Red Stone Security books. You will not be disappointed.
