      I’m just going to say WOW!!! This is the first book I’ve read by these authors and I want more. I can’t wait for the continuation. 

      Hiro Santos is a 40-year old homicide detective from Everlight. He’s working on a case with the prime suspect being Sable Campion who is a gorgeous 20 something looking male. Hiro believes  that Sable is crazy because he thinks he is a high wizard guarding a portal between Everlight and Elysium. When Sable finally convinces Hiro that what he saying is true that’s when things go from bad to worse. 

       Sable has been guarding the portal to Everlight for 200+ years and it’s been a lonely existence. Sure he has had hook ups and one night stands but he really wants to find his soulmate. Hiro is that person, he just doesn’t know it yet. When the White Council puts Sable in charge of the investigation into why A person was killed in his art studio he teams up with Hiro and sparks fly literally. Will Sable and Hiro be able to solve the murders in time or will they become the next casualties? 

        I highly recommend this book for anyone who likes fantasy/mystery and of course M/M.
