This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. O’Fallon and I went and bought the first book in the series. I loved it that much! It was suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Detective Gray Yates has some major, major trust issues. After doing a tour in Afghanistan and trusting the wrong woman he is majorly gun shy about trusting women and people in general. He wants to take a chance on Alex, but he knows she has secrets. Alex is a single mom of a little boy who has cancer and is just trying to get by. Gray finally gives in to his attraction to Alex and asks her on a date. It all comes crashing down when Alex is implicated with the Pyramid and Gray’s trust goes right out the window. Will he ever be able to truly trust Alex again when all of her secrets come to light?
