This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. O’Leary and I can’t wait to read more. This book was so good I am going to have to get the other 8 in the Midnight Delta series.

Drake Avery is part of the Midnight Delta Navy SEALs team. When he was framed for assault in Tennessee the judge gave him an option of enlisting, he took the olive branch the judge handed him and never looked back. He still kept in touch with his six younger sisters via Skype and emails and sent a portion of his paychecks to them every month. When Drake’s father gets out of jail early and goes after his younger sister Piper he flies from California back to Tennessee even though he was told by the police to never set foot in his hometown again.

Karen Eastman is one of Piper’s teachers and her mentor. When Drake’s father sends some goons after Karen and Drake barely makes it there in time he insists on Karen coming to stay with him and his family. His alpha male dominate personality comes out to play in all aspects of their interactions.

I love the interaction between Drake and his sisters. They don’t take any of his sh*t and they give as good as they get, especially Eva (I really hope she gets her own book). And you can’t forget his comradery with his teammates. I highly recommend this book for anyone who likes military romance or romantic suspense.
