Stars: 4.5

I’ve read both of Ms. Wayne’s paranormal books and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book since she was stepping into a new genre. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!!

Tomás is the youngest son of a crime syndicate in Miami. Mikayla is paying her way through college being a camgirl. They meet up on the website Mikayla is camming for and Tomás ends up buying two nights a week so she will be his for the night. They talk about anything and everything after she gives Tomás the show that he paid for. She begins to develop feelings for Tomás that her camming friend, really her best friend Quentin, says that she shouldn’t and to end the relationship with Tomás.

Years later they meet up again but Mikayla does not recognize Tomás because they wore masks in all of their encounters while she was camming. Tomás didn’t recognize her immediately, but after a few encounters with her he knows that it is his camgirl. Tomás has a proposition for Mikayla, she will write her story on his family portraying them in a good light and she will have to do tasks for the family or she ends up dead.

She gets tangled up in questionable situations and puts her best friend Quentin at risk also when he accompanies her on her “assignments”. Mikayla begins to question her moral compass when tragedy strikes Quentin. Will they all make it out unscathed?

** I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review **img_9229
