I have been trying to come up with the words to do this book justice. I just can’t seem to come up with the right words. This book was so heartbreakingly beautiful. I felt the story deep down in my soul. Alina could have been anyone, including me. I felt her pain, unworthiness, and shame. I cried so hard at what she went through. This has to be one of the best I have read all year. It was such a beautiful, painful story and so well written it felt real. This was my first Gillian Jones book but definitely won’t be my last! She has such an amazing gift to tell such an amazing story. I hope everyone who reads this will love it as much as I did! Warning: Bring tissues
