Jennifer’s review of Fighting Weight by Gillian Jones

    Title: Fighting Weight

    Author: Gillian Jones

    Genre: Contemporary romance

    Stars: 5:🛍🛍🛍🛍🛍

I have been trying to come up with the words to do this book justice. I just can’t seem to come up with the right words. This book was so heartbreakingly beautiful. I felt the story deep down in my soul. Alina could have been anyone, including me. I felt her pain, unworthiness, and shame. I cried so hard at what she went through. This has to be one of the best I have read all year. It was such a beautiful, painful story and so well written it felt real. This was my first Gillian Jones book but definitely won’t be my last! She has such an amazing gift to tell such an amazing story. I hope everyone who reads this will love it as much as I did! Warning: Bring tissues

Jennifer’s review of Door in the Garden of Shadows by April Canavan

Title: Door in the Garden of Shadows

    Author: April Canavan

    Genre: fantasy, paranormal, paranormal romance

    Stars: 4🛍🛍🛍🛍

Door in the Garden of Shadows is book three in the Destruction of Magic series. It can easily be read as a standalone. This is the first book in this series I have read. I loved it. It is fantasy but had an epic fantasy feel. I thought the story was well written and the characters were so well formed I fell in love with them from the start. Mostly, this book had me turning the pages to see what happen next. Some spots were a little slow for me but overall this book was a fantastic and extremely creative adventure!

Jennifer’s review of Pivot Line by Rebel Farris

Title: Pivot Line  (Falling Small Duet #2)

    Author: Rebel Farris

    Genre: Romantic suspense

Oh my goodness! This was such an amazing followup to False Start. The absolute crazy twits and turns had my mouth open in surprise and kept me repeating “what?!” in my head. This book had me guessing until the end. It was steamy and suspenseful in just the right places. This is a pretty perfect romantic suspense duo in my opinion. I recommend this for anyone who loves suspense, thriller and romantic suspense like me. I love this book so much! I’m super excited to see what Rebel Farris has for us next!

  • Boyfrenemy by Sosie Frost

Julian’s the kind of sexy that demands a cigarette before sex.
He’s the whip and the cream on top of my chocolate sundae.
Hell, he’s the only man worth the fancy underwear in my panty drawer. But suddenly, the thong isn’t the only pain in my ass.
He’s rude. He’s arrogant. And he’s the single greatest threat to my job.
So, of course, I fell in love with my perfect enemy.
Accidentally getting pregnant was our first battle.
    Now? It’s all-out-war.JULIAN
Micah’s the sort of girl who breaks more balls than hearts.
No matter how perfect her ass, it’s not worth the pain in mine.
Her smile might tighten my pants, but the woman’s worse than the drought, pestilence, and ramble of weeds destroying my fields. Too bad she’s the only one who can save my farm.
So, I made a deal with that devil.
    …Then I knocked her up.

Sosie Frost is no stranger to quirky, embarrassing, and wild situations, and she’s channeling all that new adult angst into fun romances. From marching at the high school homecoming game without her trumpet (a punishment for forgetting the instrument on the band bus), to regretfully tucking her prom dress into the back of her tights before pictures, and even accidentally starting a chemical fire in the college chem lab, Sosie has the market cornered on crazy stories.

But hey, writing is a better outlet than therapy right? 😉

If you want funny, charming, and steamy romances, you’ve found the right author!

Sosie lives in Pittsburgh with her hubby, her two cats, and thrives on a near constant stream of gummy bears.

Jennifer’s review of Until Harmony by Aurora Rose Reynolds

    received_1645942628771341Title: Until Harmony

    Author: Aurora Rose Reynolds

    Genre: Contemporary romance

    Stars: 5🛍🛍🛍🛍🛍

Even after all these years of reading the Until series I still can’t get enough. This book is all I have come come to expect of the series and more. Until Harmony stays true to the signature fast pace relationship, over the top alpha males, danger and suspense and passionate love. This story was beautifully written and Harmony and Harlen were fantastic main characters. Their love for each other and their friendship was shown on each page of this book. I love that even with the fast pace of their relationship I can still see, enjoy and be a part of watching them grow together and learn each other. I was also super excited to see not only Nico and Sophie but grandma and grandpa Mayson again. I thoroughly enjoyed Until Harmony. This is a wonderful addition to the Until series and definitely makes you want to #believeintheboom
