Genre: Thriller, Suspense
Release Date: February 22, 2017
Stars: 4.5

I’ve read both of Ms. Wayne’s paranormal books and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book since she was stepping into a new genre. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!!

TomΓ‘s is the youngest son of a crime syndicate in Miami. Mikayla is paying her way through college being a camgirl. They meet up on the website Mikayla is camming for and TomΓ‘s ends up buying two nights a week so she will be his for the night. They talk about anything and everything after she gives TomΓ‘s the show that he paid for. She begins to develop feelings for TomΓ‘s that her camming friend, really her best friend Quentin, says that she shouldn’t and to end the relationship with TomΓ‘s.

Years later they meet up again but Mikayla does not recognize TomΓ‘s because they wore masks in all of their encounters while she was camming. TomΓ‘s didn’t recognize her immediately, but after a few encounters with her he knows that it is his camgirl. TomΓ‘s has a proposition for Mikayla, she will write her story on his family portraying them in a good light and she will have to do tasks for the family or she ends up dead.

She gets tangled up in questionable situations and puts her best friend Quentin at risk also when he accompanies her on her “assignments”. Mikayla begins to question her moral compass when tragedy strikes Quentin. Will they all make it out unscathed?

But her heart melts towards Steel seeing his interactions with his teenage daughter and mother.

Drugs are running rampant in Alina, and the main users are teenagers and twenty-somethings. In exchange for the police not bothering the club they have to keep the hard drugs out of the county. When Steel’s daughter gets hooked on drugs it becomes personal. Will love blossom in the middle of heartbreak?

Series: Devil’s Iron MC Series Book 6
Genre: MC, BDSM, Erotica
Release Date: February 25, 2016
Stars: 4

Blown away by Ms. Scherbert’s writing. This is the first book that I’ve had the pleasure of reading by this author. She writes about sassy heroines and sweet alpha males (swoon-worthy combination). I really enjoyed combo of BDSM with the elements of MC. Country grew up around MC’s and now is a member. Heather got pregnant in college and is running from a verbally abusive ex-boyfriend. When their paths cross everyone better look out and then throw Bull into the mix well let’s just say things really heat up. Will their little family be enough to stop the evil coming their way?

I can’t wait for the continuation of Country, Bull and Heather’s story!!!

Ashley’s Review of Knockout by J.C. Valentine

Ashley’s 4-πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ› Review
Book: Knockout
Author: J.C. Valentine
Series: Wayward Fighters #1
Genre: Sports Romance, New Adult
Release Date: April 6, 2014
Stars: 4

Ms. Valentine is a new author to me and I was blown away. She writes a drama and angst filled story. Jami and Ally have so much baggage between them it’s unreal. They were neighbors growing up. She had an alcoholic father who used to beat her and her mother and Jami used to burglarize homes/businesses and do and sell drugs. She hasn’t been able to stop thinking about him since he was dragged away in handcuffs from her life. When they meet up again it’s at a MMA match where Jami is fighting, he put his temper to good use. When things get sticky for Ally with her job, she brings home clients and that’s a big no-no, she starts receiving calls and unexplainable things start to happen. Jami doesn’t need/want the distraction of a serious girlfriend but he just can’t help it with Ally. Will Jami have to become Ally’s protector once again?

I didn’t want this book to end. I can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

Ashley’s Review of Claimed by Two Masters by Claire Thompson

Ashley’s 4-πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ› Review
Book: Claimed by Two Masters
Author: Claire Thompson
Series: BDSM Connections Book #3
Genre: BDSM, Erotica
Release Date: February 17, 2017
Stars: 4

I have been anticipating this book for a while now and it was as good as I expected it to be. I absolutely love Ms. Thompson’s writing style. She has great character development and really relatable characters.

When Shea finally gets up the courage to go to a BDSM club she is highly aroused and intrigued. That’s when she meets two sexy Doms, Steve and Zach. They teach anyone who wants to explore being an erotic submissive. They take on Shea as a client to teach her how to be a submissive. It gets harder and harder to train Shea and not have sex with her- that’s their number one rule about teaching submissives, they don’t have sex with their students. And they absolutely don’t let their hearts get involved. Will they all come out unscathed when they finally take their relationship to the next level?

I loved this book!! Can’t wait for what Ms. Thompson will come up with next.

Book: Crescent Vendetta
Author: Desiree L Scott
Series: Vendetta Series #1
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Romantic Suspense
Release Date: November 30, 2016
Stars: 4

This was the first book I’ve read by Ms. Scott and I can’t wait for more. Vanessa and Travis were well developed characters. She is an outcast and he the alpha of a pack. They couldn’t be more different but what they both have in common is they are kidnapped and made to fight in an underground wolf fighting ring.

Vanessa was shunned by her brother’s pack and then taken in by The Crescent Pack pack. Travis is slowly getting Vanessa to trust in him. Will they be safe from the kidnappers trying to reacquire them, especially Vanessa?

I can’t wait for the second book in this series. I’m really looking forward to the continuation.
