JL Drake is an absolutely awesome story teller. While I did love Broken, this book just had something a bit extra to it. I laughed a little, cried, shouted at the characters living in my kindle (cause yeah they can hear me lol) and just fell more in love with this story the farther along I got into it. This book is full of twists and turns and will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. One of my favorite books you have written so far!

Broken was a pretty good and pretty quick read for me. The story is very well written and easy to follow. I enjoyed these characters very much. The beginning of the story was fantastic. I really loved that it was going to be a darker read. After Samantha’s rescue, the book, for me lightened up quite a bit more than I was hoping. I was hoping to put off the romance a little bit more towards the end of the story. All in all, the book was very good, characters are enjoyable and the ENDING! (Love that ending! ) If you like just putting your toes in the water of dark romance or are new to it this is a great place to start (in my opinion). For all dark romance lovers this book is an easy read and very good.

This book was pretty different from what I am used to reading. I really love the author’s writing style and the flow of the book. This was a very easy book for me to get into. I love how independent Dorothea is for her age. I enjoyed seeing how responsible she is at only 18. She is a strong character with great wit and a take charge attitude. The paranormal throughout this story was different and very interesting. The strange creatures and the story behind why they are terrorizing this small town caught and held my attention. I absolutely love this story! I recommend this book if you like a bit of YA, paranormal, fantasy and creepy.

Jennifer’s review of Exposed by Lyz Kelley

Title: Exposed

Author: Lyz Kelley

Genre: Contemporary romance

Stars: 5πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

Exposed is the 5th book in the Elkridge series and is a fast easy read. It can be a read as a standalone (but is better as a series). This is a very sweet romance that took me on a bit of an emotional ride. The story is well written and flows very well. I love the characters and love that I have already met them in the previous stories. I am always surprised while reading Lyz Kelley. She somehow always makes the characters and scenes she writes come alive in my mind. I can always see clearly in my head the scenes she paints. The characters always feel like real life people. The emotions I feel while reading the characters feel real. She is a fantastic writer. As always with this series, bring a tissue or two while you are reading and be prepared to fall in love.

This is my first book by Amy Reece. She wrote a fantastic story! Β The characters had depth and personality that made them more real and the story was well written. I thought Melanie and Finn meeting through the cat was cute and funny. The story itself mostly kept me on the edge of my chair with the twists and turns. Overall it was a great read and I am excited for the next book!

I really enjoyed this book. Liv was finally living her life with her best friend Julia after a horrible and traumatic college relationship. She makes a stop to eat dinner and sees Aiden sitting in a business meeting at the table across from her. The attraction is instant for both. Of course Liv decides to run from it. Aiden chases her down to return her forgotten phone. And so the hilarious and suspenseful story starts. Β Liv and Aiden were perfect. They were absolutely perfect for each other. Aiden is take charge and in control of every aspect of his life. Liv is a book worm, foul mothed, crazy quirky lady. She was always pushing his limits and the banter back and forth is hilarious. I had quite a few laugh out loud moments. The very real danger Liv was in from her stalker had me turning pages to see what would happen next. The story was very well written and the side characters were amazing and so funny at time. I finished this story very quickly. I couldn’t put it down Β (even while at work)! Definitely 5 stars and I can’t wait to start on Julia’s book!
