This series is fantastic and each book gets better and better. By The Horns was fabulous, awesome, fantastic – there are not enough words to describe how much I enjoyed this read. You will be sitting on the edge of your seat with this page turning story of scorching romance and intrigue.

Rachael Slate has a way of writing that brings her characters to life on the page. You find yourself immersed within the story right along with her heroine and hero. Her secondary characters are just as interesting.

In By The Horns you find the story of Ox (Kassian) and Snake (Nat). Two individuals with a past relationship. A hot sexy alpha male trying to win the love of a seductive kickbutt assassin. You will find yourself rooting for a happy ending for this couple. While hoping the bad guys are sent straight back to Diya (Hell).

I would recommend this series be read in order to better understand the story line, but can be read as a standalone. Kudos to Ms. Slate on another 5 Star read. Looking forward to many more in the series. Highly recommend to paranormal readers who are looking for something a little different regarding shifters.
